Mining/Diamonds – 2019

BACKGROUND

The client’s expansion project incorporated cutting-edge mining techniques, including semi-mobile in-pit crushing systems. This system allows crushing of the RoM material in the pit, and the product is then transported to the process plant via the conveyor belt.

SCOPE

The electrical infrastructure for the GG6 expansion, in order to increase the throughput and to enhance the processing efficiencies.

APPROACH

As ZEST WEG, with local manufacturing capabilities, was selected to provide solutions for the expansion project of the mine.

RESULTS / CUSTOMER BENEFITS

Reduced TCO due to the framework agreement.

Peace of mind, due to extended product warrantees.

Access to the Zest WEG after sales support teams.

Product training was included at no cost.

CONCLUSION

Project was successfully completed by the Zest WEG, which included the local manufacture of the LV MCC’s, minisubs and transformers.
